The EWGA National Championship is an exciting annual event that allows women golfers of all abilities to compete for local, regional, and, finally, national acclaim. It is the largest, organized women's amateur golf competition in the world.
The competition begins at the local level with our Greater Philadelphia EWGA Chapter Championship. You can find more information about this year's event below. You may enter as a competitive stroke player or as a member of a competitive scramble team.
The field is flighted -- which means golfers are grouped according to their handicaps. You only compete against women whose skills are on a similar level to you own. Scramble teams are assigned a "team" handicap based upon the individual handicaps of their members.

Sign on for the first stage of competition in the EWGA National Championship! This is a flighted event. Golfers of all abilities are welcome. Winners advance to the Semi-Final Sectional Tournament in Queenstown, MD and perhaps to a national title in Aloha, OR in September. You may play competitive stroke or get a competitive scramble team together!
NOTE: You must have an official handicap to compete AND you must post at least 3, 18-hole scores or 6, 9-holes scores in 2008 to compete.
Or, if you'd like a little less stress, you may register for the non-competitive division.
